Web site posting policy:

Please read this before submitting to News web site.
News web site welcomes news articles, notifications of festivals and special programs, philosophical articles and opinion articles, any news from India,  holy places, spiritual controversy and advertisements from devotee businesses with products of potential interest to devotees.

This is news not only about ISKCON, but relevant or interesting to our readers. For instance, stories about vegetarianism, yoga, the environment, spirituality, trends in religion, and more. Most of these are re-posts from the secular press. If you would like to submit a story from another publication for re-post, please credit the original author and publication, along with a link to the original article.

As we have only a small volunteer staff, we would appreciate it if you would kindly take the trouble to send your submissions with source, and always provide a descriptive title in the subject field and pictures.

Take the time to read before sending it in, ensure that your spellings are plausible and your sentences understandable. New articles are placed in a queue. The delay before posting depends on the length of the queue.

We regret we do not have sufficient staff to keep each writer informed about the current status of his or her submission. Articles in this section should be between 800 and 2,000 words.

We like to know civil or devotee name, as it appears in your message body. Webmaster generally will not publish anonymous material.

We will not publish any ads involving multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes and ads for medical treatments, marriage, or astrological services.

Clarity. Make it clear which article you are responding to. Provide the headline, author name and date of publication.

Mutual respect. It is perfectly OK to disagree with another writer, but use respectful terms and stick to the issue under discussion. Do not turn your argument against another person's opinion into a personal attack; do not speculate about the motives of that author in writing his or her article. We are not interested in articles which call into question that writer's character or personal conduct.

Pictures to illustrate news events are welcome. Photographs that tell a story are great. Also, please do not import and embed the photos into Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF documents. Just send plain text articles accompanied by JPEGs sent as attachments. Webmaster editor reserves the right to make editorial corrections and cosmetic revisions before publication.

What Types of Content Will be Published?

Website editorial staff places greatest emphasis on content that is Srila Prabhupada-centric, but any story directly or indirectly related to the spiritual community worldwide will be considered for publication. We encourage ISKCON-friendly articles. We will accept  articles from all spiritual parties - ISKCON, independent and Gaudiya Matha alike. Our editorial emphasis will always be on philosophical content, and we don't wish to discourage non-ISKCON parties from submitting anything that is on the philosophical platform, regardless of viewpoint.

AUDIO and VIDEO: We welcome the submission of audio and video files, which must be accompanied by a descriptive text article.
