These cooking scenes were taken in Vrindavana, Pune, and Mumbai, some were taken in private homes, but most of them were taken in Temples of Lord Krishna.

Devotional cooking is made as an offering to God. The cook does not think about his enjoyment while cooking but of the pleasure of God. As part of his relationship with the Lord he is happy to cook delectable preparations especially for the Lord.

The Lord is pleased to allow us to cook for Him and allows us to eat His remnants. He gives the food a special divine quality that can be tasted. In the world of Yoga, this kind of food is called Prasadam - Mercy. We cook for God, and He, by His mercy, accepts our cooking as part of a reciprocal loving relationship between the Lord and his devotee.
