Eating a vegetarian diet is important for health. Vegetarian is a term that means different things to different people. Some people even call themselves vegetarian even though they eat chicken or fish.

Vegetarians don't eat any animal flesh. But they may eat eggs, cheese, milk and other dairy products.

Vegans don't eat anything that comes from an animal. This means they don't eat eggs or cheese or dairy either. Other animal products that vegans may not eat are honey, gelatin, and they may avoid wearing leather or other animal derived products.

Raw Food is food that is not heated higher than 118 degrees fahrenheit.

I like to think of a diet continuum. A high meat based, processed food diet is on one extreme. At the other end is eating only plant foods picked and eaten in its natural state. Strive to get as close to the natural state as possible as often as possible.
